A lot of people have heard the term blogger and blogs and how professionals are practically making money from this for a living. There has been many blogs set up by people who really wanted to make money online but not all of them have success stories to write about. It goes on to agree to the old saying, “Invest only in what you know.” There are many opportunities now more than ever that can help make you a successful blogger and make money online, but the primary thing that can help you to be successful blogging online is if you have a patriotic reader base. So, if you really want to make money from your blog, the best way is to make people love your blog. The attractiveness of your blog is the real asset.

To monetize your blog such that it will be able to earn you recurring income, this is what you need to do:

- Be people oriented

- Have a good blog template

- Select your niche

- Give room for adverts and other income sources like Google adsense

- Don’t make your blog posts too long. Be more direct and add value to reader’s knowledge.

- Increase you blogging frequency

- Use social christian media services and feeds to connect

- Allow moderate comments

- Make comments on other blogs and post a link to your site

Once you’ve set up your blog and it is up running. You really need to monetize it in order to keep it growing for the long term. One of the ways I would suggest you commercialize it is by using Google adsense or Adbrite full page ads. Google adsense ads needs to be placed at strategic positions on your blog template such that it would catch the eyes of your readers.

Adbrite also helps to rake in some extra bucks when you are blogging but the thing with Adsense and Adbrite is that it won’t bring in much money for you at the start but you will find out that the income grows exponentially as time passes.

The other thing is selecting and blogging about your choice keywords by knowing what keywords your desired audience are constantly searching for. This will help you keep focused on writing informative posts that will help your readers and keep returning to your website.
