Employment – Work From Home
Employment from home seems to be a very popular job these days. I am sure you have already looked around just about everywhere just to find broken promises that promise you “real work from home.” But if you know the right ways to find good telecommuting jobs you can really be ahead of the competition. So if you are tired of bidding on a million jobs, only to get no work this article is for you. You can use this article as a useful guide to help get your work from home up to speed.
Tip 1: Make a list of all your skills that people would be willing to pay for. Do you excel in organization, writing, typing, ect. A lot of telecommute jobs are outsourced jobs that people are either to busy to do, or just do not want to do. Take about 20-30 minutes to write out all your skills and try not to just stick to one area; dig deep and you might surprise yourself.
Tip 2: Search through classified ads. What are people seeking to have done. There has to be a hungry audience for your job or you will simply have no work at all. Also, you can go up to the local library and do some additional research. If you really want to break into the work from home workforce you are going to have to work in order to have full time employment.
Tip 3: Get a resume? If you don’t what are you waiting for, get started on one. Another common thing that people often forget is to have cover letters. (more importantly, make a couple of targeted cover letters.) Another common thing I see everyday is people will have a resume but it has a typical Yahoo or Gmail extension. Come on, take the time to get a website and get your own domain extension. This looks so unprofessional!
Tip 4: The Internet is your friend. ESPECIALLY WHEN SEEKING EMPLOYMENT WORK FROM HOME. There are a lot of resources online and sometimes you need a little help to finding a good job.
